Mr Shafiq Rahman is a highly experienced, UK-trained Consultant Plastic Surgeon specialising in facial aesthetic and reconstructive surgery. His work is guided by a surgeon-led approach grounded in precision, refined technique, and a deep understanding of facial anatomy, developed through practice across several of the UK’s leading plastic surgery units. He continues to practise as an NHS Consultant alongside his specialist facial work.
Following completion of his specialist training in Yorkshire, Mr Rahman undertook advanced fellowship training, including the highly competitive Training Interface Group (TIG) Fellowship in Head and Neck Reconstruction and the CAPSCO Aesthetic Fellowship. This extensive sub-specialist experience in complex facial and head and neck reconstruction enables him to approach facial cosmetic surgery with exceptional anatomical insight, supporting expert-crafted enhancement and naturally elevated results.
Mr Rahman holds a Master’s degree in Plastic Surgery (MSc, London) and maintains a strong academic profile, with over 30 peer-reviewed publications. He has contributed to major medical textbooks, including Gray’s Anatomy, and has presented internationally. His academic work reflects a commitment to advanced facial rejuvenation, long-term refinement, and evidence-led decision-making, with his research recognised through nomination for the William’s Prize by the Society of Academic and Research Surgery.
