Mr Ali Juma is a highly experienced consultant plastic surgeon with over 33 years in plastic and reconstructive surgery, including more than two decades as a consultant. His current practice focuses on facial aesthetic, cosmetic, and reconstructive procedures, helping patients achieve natural, balanced results while prioritising safety and long-term wellbeing.
Mr Juma began his plastic surgery career in 1992 at the Royal Preston Hospital and went on to hold a prestigious Duke of Kent Research Fellowship in plastic and reconstructive surgery. His training includes international experience in Ghent, Belgium, where he further developed expertise in aesthetic and reconstructive techniques.
Alongside his clinical work, Mr Juma has held several senior academic and professional roles. He served as an honorary lecturer at the University of Liverpool for nine years and acted as a medical examiner for the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. He is currently the Clinical Lead for Professional Development at The Royal Society of Medicine and sits on its Educational Committee.
